...I’d really love for things to mirror the setup we have currently across the World Guide and upcoming Character Guide. Having the setting info for various areas and nations is nice, but I’d really appreciate having other broad Factions to glom onto, as they make an easy core for characters in a setting we’re strangers to and can help structure things.

Lost Omens World Guide is written with new players in mind, who got into Pathfinder through 2e launch and are strangers to the Inner Sea setting too. So there's no reason why they won't follow that format for other regions.
