[Spoilers] Final boss in House on Hook Street

Hi all,
I'm running House on Hook Street as part of my Curse of the Crimson Throne campaign, and the party is close to the end. I've started looking at Nahum and how to play him in combat, but am a bit overwhelmed. I've no experience of the Occultist class before, and this guy has a ton of options for each round.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to play Nahum in the final battle? The tactics say to keep Shadow Beasts between him and the PCs, making use of fear auras and spamming energy bolts, but I can't help but feel there's other interesting things he should be able to do with the very long list of abilities that he has...

I knew nothing about Occultists either. I found a handy online guide, then went line by line through the build to make sure I understood how the class worked. It was a lot of effort but it's necessary to run the encounter properly. He has a few very powerful abilities via his Implements that the GM needs to be aware of to get the most out of him.
