Xp path question.

I was wondering what Xp Path everyone is using for this Ap. I’m leaning towards Fast but was looking for any input as this is the first published Ap I’ve ever ran as I am a homebrew Gm.

The AP's are designed for either the normal XP progression or milestone-based progression. With that said, you can often move to the fast or slow paths depending on what you're doing. You can and should tailor the AP to your group, and that means adding new content where appropriate and removing it where it doesn't fit, and if you end up with significantly more or less overall you can compensate by changing the XP track.

You should use the milestone progression. It's honestly so much better. If you look near the front pages it says when your characters should level. Just at the end of the session or whenever you feel appropriate tell your PCs that they leveled.

As mentioned, we assume Normal XP progression, but you should absolutely use whatever works for your group. As you're primarily a homebrew GM, you probably already have some really good ideas about what works for your group specifically.

I don't have hard data about this, but I suspect that many people who use our APs use milestone progression, which is why we foreground the level expectations right on the first page of the adventure.
