Power Armor Miniature Question

Miniatures

Question for everyone here:

I have a character who will be getting Large-sized Powered armor. I already have a HeroForge Medium-sized mini that a friend has painted for me.

Does anyone know any minis/toys/etc. that the scale would work for me to place my Medium-sized mini *into* when they are operating the Large-sized power armor?

I already have a base converter (Medium-size to Large-size), but I was looking for something more visually dramatic than that. I can also try to build something out of Lego, but would rather not if there is another option someone could suggest.

I know that I could purchase the .stl file from HeroForge and have someone 3-D print it scaled up 2x, but I'm really looking for something I can put the Medium-sized mini into when the power armor comes into play.

Thanks for any advice.

This is a repost from the Starfinder Accessories forum, but this seems like a better place for the question.

I don't know of any power armor minis where you can actually insert a medium size miniature into. The would probably be tricky with the large variation of miniature dimensions. But Reaper miniatures has a couple of figures called Blackstar Corsairs which are basically suits of power armor if that helps.

Likewise, I am not aware of any power armor minis that you can fit smaller minis into. Most traditional minis are cast and molded in such a way that would be very difficult to do (they are solid pieces of plastic or metal, so to make an "exosuit" would involve likely casting several pieces and then assembling them, which would be costly). Not to mention the armor would have to be designed for your specific miniature to fit into, accommodating for pose, base, etc. It might be possible with 3D printing, but would require a lot of precise measurements and I'd think it'd have to be very costly.

The way I'd do it--which would be much less fun but far more practical--is much as many do with characters with mounts: they have two or three miniatures, one for their character on foot (and possibly their mount separately), another of the character sitting on the mount. In this case, have one mini for your character, and a separate mini for your character in the suit. Buy any power-armor mini you like and glue it to a Large base. Just remove your normal character from play and put the power armor mini down when the armor is donned. If you need both on the table at once (like, your character exits your armor and then wants to go back in), use a marker to indicate when the armor is occupied (this marker could be a tile that goes underneath the mini, or a small object you put onto the base.

You need a toy shop for this.

But that kind of toy will often be too big for what you want
