As the title. I was glancing at weapons and it kept bugging me that the ECB was 2 Bulk. It just feels like it should be 1 since it's a finesse and Elf-y weapon, despite being 2-handed. But I thought maybe all 2-handed weapons were 2 Bulk for reasons so I looked over the others. There were a couple discrepancies (spiked Chain is 1 Bulk despite being 2-hand and a couple 1 handed weapons are 2 Bulk, namely an axe that can be wielded two handed an a 1-H reach weapon) but then I saw that the Falchion is 1 Bulk! That discrepancy doesn't seem quite right. They're somewhat similar weapons (both forceful and two handed, one is finesse and d8 and the other is sweep and d10, and this is irrelevant but in PF1 they were almost identical) but it really seems like the lower damage finesse weapon would be the lighter of the two, yeah?

Isn't the thing about the ECB that it's really quite long and thus awkward to carry? Falchions are pretty compact.
Is it? I don't actually know, I've never seen a physical description/depiction of the ECB. I hadn't really considered awkwardness, that is a factor in Bulk, I was just going off of the presumed weight and the assumption that the ECB is weighted in such a way to allow quick dexterous swings.
If it's as you say though that does make some sense. Still feels hardh but I can see it.
Also now I'm picturing the ECB as Sephiroth's sword. But that things probably at least 3 Bulk TBH. XD

Falchions are also, IRL, one handed weapons, so it's hard to really get a grasp on what they're supposed to be like in Pathfinder. I never pictured them as that compact, simply because otherwise I couldn't find them convincing as two handed (or at least some form of hand-and-a-half), over one handed.

I always visualize them as grosse messer, which are broad, brutal blades and two handed, (also light and surprisingly fast in hand)
