What Lores have you / your players made up?

Skills, Feats, Equipment & Spells

Given that there can be a Lore for nearly anything, I'm curious to hear what new Lores people have come up with so far.

For example: in my game, the Cleric got Additional Lore to take "Healer Lore", basically to have the ability to use recall knowledge that would be associated with injuries/recovery, and to represent healing as a profession.

I haven't actually done any Lores that aren't RAW for the play test but I am already thinking about homebrewing things.

My first thought was that I could make Lore (smith) and Lore (leatherworker) or whatever work for crafting those specific items like a subset version of craft. If signature skills are left the same that would allow someone to become a legendary crafter in a small set of items even if craft isn't a signature skill.

I was also considering giving all characters two lores at start, one from their background and one from whatever region they grew up in basically a knowledge(local) for that region.

Those are interesting ideas. It is odd that Lores automatically become signature skills, but that's a workaround I hadn't right thought of.

We have "Cheesemaking Lore", "Pastry Lore", "Juggling Lore", and "Zymurgy Lore" in the party. "Additional Lore" is a very popular skill feat.

After some discussion about what was and wasn't covered by existing skills, our Pathfinder Hopeful took Cartography Lore as his bonus lore.

(Healer Lore was discussed, but I figured that was covered under Medicine.)

There was a post on Reddit that inquired about a fortune teller background. I came up with a homebrew background that gave Astrology Lore. (It also gave a boost to Int or Cha and one free boost plus the Dubious Knowledge feat.)

I'm stuck as my group's playtest DM, but if I had the chance I'd have a character with a feat for Additional Lore: Dragon Lore, even knowing it'd literally never come up.

I found it amusing that the Goblin Pyro NPC in Lost Star had Fire Lore.

My Paladin has "Doomsday Lore", so she knows lots of things about the end of the world, and can make a good living selling people survival gear.
