Hi, I'm a brazilian Pathfinder and taking advantage of the impact of the announcement of the 2nd edition of Pathfinder RPG, I'd like to say a few brief but meaningful words.
Here in Brazil, Pathfinder's license is in Devir publishing company hands. However, in almost 10 years of the game, they have published only the Core Rulebook and Bestiary (in 2015, 6 years after the Core release in english), two books and nothing more... Not even an information or news. Zero. Zip. Nothing. Nada.
As demonstrated over so many years and through other works (of VERY questionable quality, it is important to say) they have no respect for the fans, and do not intend to publish anything else related to Pathfinder, just because they think that it is not profitable enough.
So, I (representing the others brazilian Pathfinders) came here to ask your help: PLEASE, Paizo, don't give/sell the 2nd Edition license/rights to Devir, at Brasil. We want to buy and play the game in brazilian portuguese, to spread the hobby to new players, but Devir has already shown that it is not willing to do so. They just DON'T WANT to publish.
We have a lot of other qualified, excellent publishing companies here, so please, don't sell it to Devir. Sell it to anyone, apart from them.
PLEASE! LISTEN TO THE BRAZILIAN FANS! DO NOT SELL THE RIGHTS TO DEVIR!
To the international community, I just need your help. Make this message reach Paizo's staff, share the hashtag #foraDevir in portuguese and #notDevir in english, so they can see it and regards to give a more fair destiny to the game.
