After the Alien Archive, what do you think will be next?
I wonder if it'll be a GM's Guide with worldbuilding, race-creation rules and info on making interesting, alien cultures.
I could also imagine an "Advanced Starships" option with a couple of classes, extra shipbuilding rules and some expanded starship combat options.
Any guesses on the book after Alien Archive (hopefully to be announced this weekend)?

Seems like the Alien Archive is going to have more character options and equipment than a standard "bestiary" normally would. In a similar vein, I hope that we do get a technology guide, but that it includes a few character options tossed in for good measure.
In an unusual twist, I would not be opposed to a politics/setting guide. I'm not normally big on them, but I think it's a lot more relevent than it would be in a strictly fantasy game.

I agree with you - I think science-fantasy is so broad and with less 'hard coded' base assumptions, that it really needs a bit more structure around the setting to define the game a bit (more than a fantasy world needs).
It seems to me that the Starfinder RPG line is going to include more setting material than we're used to with Pathfinder (although that too has shifted a little, of late).
I'd definitely like to see some non-pact worlds gazetteer/political information at some point.

The AP.
I know the devs have said that the primary vector for new rules was going to be the AP. It will be interesting to see how many books outside that they are planning on.
My impression is that this has shifted somewhat over the last twelve months.
I suspect there'll be a some kind of 'rules supplement' to see how the market likes it after the Alien Archive.

I can see that.
I know in a podcast (or maybe it was at the AMA) they said that the AP was still the primary vehicle for that info - in the last week or two. I'm sure though, if people are willing to buy it, they will make it. :)I wouldn't something that is much slower than Pathfinder. Maybe a single player/GM book that happens on alternate months as the AP. And 1/year hardcover, but not more often.
Between Paizo produced and third party stuff, I gotta be careful I don't go bankrupt.

I think a technology guide is the next logical step.
Actually it is not only logical but highly necessary with the way that leveled weapons and armor work...and a really skimpy equipment section...if they had not decided it to go with different rules for NPCs vs PCs I would say it was more important than the Alien Archives.

Pact Worlds Gazetteer?
Starfinder Worlds Guide?
Cosmic Codex?
Nice. Thanks.
