Does this sound familiar to anyone? I can almost remember it, but can't. I want to say it was a Scifi and I know once someone tells me I'm going to groan and facepalm because I couldn't remember.

I typed "Well, they had to start using their brains eventually quote" into Google and this page was one of the top results >_<
The closest I found was "If they don't keep on exercising their lips, he thought, their brains start working." from Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy. That's the novel version so I don't know if it might have been tweaked for the movie.
