Civilian Pawn Box needed:
I hope that they are looking to add a civilian support pawn box.
I would like to see a myriad of civilians, mechanics, guards, officials, merchants, police, coast guard, station personnel, politicians, and innocents/civilians added to the playing environment.
It's a an easy box to produce and sell. Every GM could use support and background figures, hostages, etc.,
Also they can add a slew of non-conspicuous aliens civilians etc.
This could add a lot to the game. I can even see a super box for release of "these are the people in your neighborhood."
If Paizo is paying attention, would you please contact me, I will send a personal photo for a space lawyer NPC (big smile!)

This is a great idea. Some of my best scenarios in Pathfinder are when I can put a bunch of innocent (or not so innocent) bystanders around the board. It leads to my players making difficult choices about area attacks, slows down charge lanes, encourages some of them to protect the 'cute ones' and others to 'accidentally' target the ones that attract their ire (such as the half-orc punching every dwarf in a bar fight whether they were involved or not).
Even if a dedicated "Civilian Pawn" box isn't in the cards, a page of civilian pawns in each release would really be awesome.

Reaper's Chronofax line has cheap plastic minis that would work well for this. though i dont think they will ever have minis that match the price per unit of pawns.
For a lot of the roles you suggest, Guard, Officials, Police, Station workers, those sorts of things, i would expect them to either be represented or have very close stand ins from a regular box of pawns.
