Attention puzzle lovers!

This year, fellow editor Joe Pasini and I have created a puzzle hunt for this year's PaizoCon...with valuable prizes!

What is a Puzzle Hunt?
A puzzle hunt is a series of puzzles, each one of which will produce a single word or short phrase. Those answers, when used correctly in a final puzzle, reveal the ultimate answer. Bring THAT answer to either Joe or I and you will receive a reward (while supplies last).

You can pick up a packet of puzzles on Friday at the store. we're not real sure what kind of response this will get, so we are only printing up a hundred copies of the puzzles...for now. So, first-come, first-serve on that front.

Oh and did I mention these puzzles are STARFINDER themed? Yes, they are!

We hope you enjoy!

Scarab Sages

OMG YES!!!

This sounds great! I hope some are still available when I arrive on Saturday morning. :-)

We will save you a packet Grim Ranger!

That sounds fun, do you receive all the puzzles as part of the packet or will the clue from the first lead you to the second etc.?

All puzzles are given out at once.

Turns out there is an error in one puzzle. Sorry! The fifth answer in the Navasi puzzle is GEOMETRY despite the number of boxes shown. The shaded box is in the right place.

Dammit - I wish I was there now. I love puzzle hunts!

I'm almost there! Too late to ask for a puzzle to be held for me?

Are the pages supposed to be in a certain order? I got mine before stapled versions were set out.

Order doesnt matter

Also if anybody wants to throw me a hint on the number one...

We were wo dering about that and eventually went with geometric.

The first answer for Navasi's puzzle? It isn't a piece of furniture. You want to think a little more general.

My son and I picked up a packet today and have had fun going through it. We finished a few of the puzzles, are still working on some, and are totally stumped by what to do with Keskodai's. :-)

Thanks for coming up with this!

Stumped on that one too. I get where I'm supposed to find the cipher, but not how to use it when I get there.

I had to ask Jason for help (I didn't catch the reference at all, and now I feel a bit silly for missing it), but I'm still stumped on that one. Going to try again tomorrow after a good night's sleep. We got all the other ones finished today -- fun puzzles!

The puzzle hunt was a blast - thanks again for you and Joe putting it together.

Lol got to the airport and pulled out my book to read...
...and found my puzzle still in my bag. No problems though, too much sleep deprivation meant I was going to slow too finish them all (even now, I do not know where to begin with Raia's).

I did enjoy them Jason, thank you muchly.

Scarab Sages

I never go to finish those in time :(

But they were awesome!

We enjoyed them very much. They must have taken a long time to put together -- thanks! I hope you do it again next year.

Thanks for the Puzzle Hunt! I was able to finish it in time, at least with some help. It was fun, and I hope to be able to play again next year.
