Moving to Farmington Hills / Plymouth, MI area, looking to join the Society

As the title says, I am moving to Farmington Hills, MI, which is close to Plymouth, Ann Arbor, and the Detroit Metro area, and I wish to join a Pathfinder Society group since I will be leaving my actual home game group, and need a way to break the ice with hopefully a new home game group. Or just keep playing Society, which ever keeps me in the seat as a Player (I've GMed a bunch as well, but Society seems to call for more experience than I have lol).

If anyone can tell me of a good comic book store to go to, or where, that would be awesome. I'll be living between 8 Mile and 9 Mile road, close to the expressways.

Flat land games in Wixom right off 96 has a Monday night game that plays every week. There's a warhorn for Metro Detroit.
There also is a convention next month in Ypsilanti called UCON.

Michigian is one of those states where there's different pathfinder groups depending on where you are

Howdy, welcome to Michigan! I see BNW linked to the warhorn site upthread, that'll be your go-to for sign ups and postings. As another Farmington-area resident, Flatland is definitely your closest bet for nearby, consistent games. There are occasionally games posted at RIW, which should be pretty accessible from the 8/9 mile area too.

If a campaign-ish setting is more what you're looking for, there's a core game out at Eternal Games in Warren on Thursdays that's been running for a few years now that picks a season or two of PFS and runs through all the games from level 1-11, and we're planning on starting season 7 (with older season filler) early next year. It's a bit more of a hike, but one I've been happy to make for the past few years.

Any of the groups around here are happy to see new faces, especially if they're willing to GM every now and then!

If you have any other questions about pfs or the area in general for another Michigan transplant, feel free to PM me.
