I am a little lost here, I am not sure If I am reading something wrong or I am just missing the point.. So hopefully with no spoilers...

Sheet #1 Plunder & Peril (Rum Punch)... I got it no issues there.

Sheet #2 Plunder & Peril (Dangerous Waters)... I got it no issues there.

Sheet #3 Plunder & Peril (Black Coral Cove)... I got it no issues there.

Sheet #4 (Bonus Chronicle Sheet)I understand how and when they get the sheet but the.... PCs either get all the stuff or the PC can choose to get some of the stuff???? Why would anyone choose to get only some of the stuff, and by stuff I mean boons, XP, PP, Fame, $$$$. Its a bit confusing. Am I missing the point or misreading the sheet???

It's a way to get around the traditional problem of AP chronicle sheets - characters leveling too fast. I personally won't be taking the XP and gold from the fourth sheet when I GM the last section, because the character I'm putting them on will already have lost several play opportunities through getting GM XP. I do, however, want access to the boons on it. I'm sure at least one of my players will take the same option.

So basically what you are saying is that taking the 4th sheet at full value reduces play time with that character and that will cause people to take the lesser option?

Basically, yeah.

I don't even view taking the fourth sheet at partial value as a lesser option, just a different one. For some people, it's easily a more valuable option than having to choose between all or nothing.

Hmm ok, cool makes sense now but looking at it at first I thought for sure I was messing something up LOL, thanks.

When I GMd this, several players choose just to take the boons, not the XP/Gold. They enjoyed plunder and peril, but they wanted to take their characters on many more adventures. Another whole level added would reduce play time in PFS.

I can tell you that starting a character at level seven has not been too much fun. Used gm exp to get a char to 3rd level and then gave him 4 Dragon's Demand sheets. It's mostly a bunch of stats with a funny accent. Very little character and most importantly no shared experiences or relationships with collegues.

Whenever I GM for my normal group I always try and give one of my characters a 5 second cameo in the beginning, He's normally heading in a different direction then the PCs and they usually say hi or the like. That way When I do get to play there is a connection and "so what's new guys" lol.

Just played this, of the three players eligible for the 4th sheet I was the only one to take the extra xp option.
