Wayang Miniature help!

My SO and I are making a pair of Wayang characters for PFS and have been looking for minis for weeks, but can't find anything that quite has the right feel to it. So, I figured this might be the place to come for some advice on where to start looking.

Waywangs are incredibly difficult to find a figure for. I have been using either old fashioned Goblins, or Gremlins from Wyrd, with very dark purple-black skin paint jobs. They are not perfect, but they were the best I can find.

They're supposed to be very gaunt looking, like living shadow puppets. I'd look for humanoid figures with very slender forms, perhaps even undead creatures, and paint with the right coloration to make them look the way you want. If you do miniature conversion it might help--get a bony undead creature and smooth out some of the edges with putty so they don't actually look undead, but still has that weird slenderman look wayangs have.
