Using Google Drawing for maps

Hi all, I like to make stuff and had a fun idea for doing maps. Sorry if this is already widely known, but it is all set up for DMs to build maps.

The grid images can be copied and pasted to make larger grids, and then you can draw on top of the grid using the line, curve and shape tools.

Mods, sorry if this is in the wrong place.

Nice work.

I use Pyromancers.com to draw my maps. It is free and doesn't require any downloads or membership. It has some neat tools and is fairly easy to figure out. Once the map is drawn you can 'export to JPG' and save it as a file. Before it saves as a file it allows you to crop the image and add a grid replete with vertical/horizontal ABCs and numbers for grid position clarifications later in-game.

I then take that saved, cropped, gridded image and pop it into Google Drawings where I can add the player/monster tokens right onto the map. It has been easy and successful in my PbP campaign that went on for almost 2 years.

Yeah, I miss those maps.
