Hello all,
In the text on the boss Abysiel, it's mentioned he casts obscuring mist on himself if engaged in melee.
Also that after his opening spells he casts ray attacks.
Here comes my predicament, he's cast the obscuring mist, but that would hamper his combat efficiency, wouldn't it?
Or does his fusing with the machinery allow him to ignore the concealment?
Thanks in advance.

@Eric: I played it low tier using a brand new guntank gunslinger. First turn, closed in, fired a single musket shot and rolled a Nat 20 and a Nat 19 to confirm. GM botched the light fort roll and dealt enough damage to kill him outright.
We were running behind, so the GM was a bit shocked, but didn't mind in the fnd.

<sigh> I wouldn't know... The only time I ran it the flying alchemist made his perception check and went in a surprise round and first in the full round and bombed him to death before he got to do anything...
Lucky them.
The time I played it, everyone in the party but me was a heavily armored tank without any missle weapons. (In their defense, most of them were first time players.) Fortunately my monk was able to navigate the catwalks pretty easily, but her damage output was so low the fight took a long time.

Too bad about the rest of the scenario.
Oh? They did run into some frustration in the labyrinth and were at round 12 or so with the water flood. 2 of them retreated, leaving 2 to figure the smart door puzzle.
Oh yes, one got eaten by the mouther in the 'nightmare world'.
The relief upon revelation he didn't quite die.... :)
I can't complain about the events, despite current boss fight progress.
