Hoping Bjelich is alright, Danna and Striker continue to circumnavigate the wall with short spear in hand. She hears the drunken voice from above and marvels that the man can shoot so accurately while obviously impaired. This is a dangerous foe to be sure.

She continues to move cautiously, on the look out from danger both above and below.

Double move along the wall to AQ4 unless she spies a target within her first move action. Striker to AR5.

Sorry, I put theatrics ahead of counting actions or thinking about the right order. In an attempt to amend this I'll have to pull a Grigor... sorry Grigor :P
As I understand, Bjelich can do one move action while in the staggered condition (which he is currently) without losing another hit point.
Isn't switching a weapon or item from one hand to the other a move action? I don't think Bjelich can move the tanglefoot bag to his shield hand, cast and then move to safety. That seems like too many actions - even for me :D If so, then I should amend Bjelich's turn to show him moving only and continue to bleed at AF16. He will have to cast CLW next turn.

AC 19 HP 0 (Staggered condition)at AF16

Looking at it from another angle, IF Bjelich is allowed to switch hands, cast and then move - this puts him at risk of another deadly strike from the Staglord, doesn't it? Something tells me that guy can do more than just 10 dmg and Bjelich is really keen to not get hit again.

However, if Bjelich can switch, cast and move to safety without getting another arrow in is back, then he'll do that! :))

AC 18 HP 10 at AF16

Moving items from one hand to the other is a free action, much like dropping something to the ground. As I stated you can drop the bag or transfer it to your shield hand as a free action. You then use a standard action to cast your spell raising your HP above 0, meaning you are no longer disabled. You can then use a move action to retreat.

Also, you don't threaten AoO with ranged weapons...

With all of that re-stated... you move the bag to your shield hand (making your current AC 18), cast your spell healing 10 HP and move back.

Bjelich loses sight of the Staglord.

Kyras and Grigor to act...

Male Human L3 Cavalier (Dragon Order) Human L3 Cavalier

Round 13 Init 12

Grigor draws his longsword and moves very little, as he needs to, to peer around (at, not entering) the area from AR9 to AS10 (MA). He is fighting defensively (SA). He also keeps an eye on the stairway up to the east. I wonder where the rest of my party is... he thinks. I hear some worrying sounds that could be Bjelich.

(@ Grigor) A couple of things... :) Drawing a weapon is a move equivalent action. So after you move, you have no actions left. Regardless of actions left, you can only fight defensively if you are making an attack.

As Grigor moves cautiously forward and peers into the room, making sure he scans each corner, he sees that thick layers of animal hides insulate this room’s walls. In one corner rests a ragged bed draped with threadbare silks and thick furs. On the floor, three stout chests serve as furniture, cluttered with empty liquor bottles. A few more bottles lie scattered about the floor, leaving the room reeking of stale alcohol. The room appears unoccupied.

Do you wish to end your movement? You have used 15' of movement to reach AS/9.

Also, you cannot see the stairway itself... you are just aware of its location.

I don't recall that at all... I do recall Kyras mentioning he was tracking the rounds for the spell's duration. And I likewise do not recall making any fort saves for the downed bandits. Being a full round action... for each bandit, and you guys being constantly in combat... when and who did such a thing? :)

Kyras, can you shed some light on this? :)

Leary of more bandits lurking in the bailey, Bjelich returns the tangle foot bag to his free hand FA? as he surveys the area for signs of life.
I don't want to use an action looking around the bailey. I would like to finish posting the rest of his actions once I hear if the color sprayed bandits are still going to be in play - which I am pretty sure they will be, and where they lay.
Noticing Nakpik he calls out in Draconic,FA Nakpik, make your way inside, we could use your help in here.

Male Human L3 Cavalier (Dragon Order) Human L3 Cavalier

Bjelich very much has some things to go on, such as a very intentionally visible Gladius with Grigor not atop him, and only one likely direction for Grigor to have gone. Grigor has line of sight to Bjelich, so he makes himself visible as Bjelich moves in, motioning for him to continue forward (FA).

What details can you tell me about the nearby wooden keep walls? Are the two southern rooms of solid board, while the joining wall at AT9/10 is palisade? How "complete" are these walls? Can a person see through cracks (and potentially communicate) with the outside? Is the palisade section (if that's what it is) a compactly-spaced palisade with mud or other cement making a solid curtain, or are there spaces between the poles? The term "palisade" covers a range, all the way from solid wall towards something more like a fence -- which is this bit? In short, what can Grigor see and hear, and in particular, has he perceived the party members to his west, and does he know it's them, and can he choose to communicate with them?

Also, what understanding does Grigor have of what the fort likely looks like to his east? Can he surmise that there is a way to the second floor from inside, and can he tell if/that there is a way to the second floor from the outside? Or is this totally uncertain to him? (I don't know how solid the walls are, if there are any windows, whether there are obvious internal structural markers, etc. It's okay to say "you know absolutely nothing more than has been related so far" if that's true.) Sorry to be a pain; these really matter to Grigor's actions.

Female AC 16, touch 13, flat-footed 13; HP33 Human (Ulfen/?) Druid Level 5

Danna continues her way around the interior wall until she reaches the what appears to be a door and reaches toward it to open it. Striker stands behind her.

Double move to AT9 and AU9 not enough movement left to open (or try to open) the door. Predicated of course that she doesn't round the corner and is able to see a target. If a target presents itself the action would change.

Current Status and Effects
Danna:
AC: 15 HP: 23/23

Striker:
AC: 16 HP: 1/19

The room walls are solid and covered with furs. What relevance does the outside palisade wall have? How about you state what you wish to do, and if there is a problem with that action I will let you know.

Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (15) + 6 = 21 vs DC base 10 + 3 (for distance) + 10 (for wall) = DC 23 FAIL

You do not perceive the party members location yet.

I have already stated that you can see the underside of the stairs located at the east end of this room... you therefore know the stairs are outside that lead to the second level...

As Danna rounds the corner she spots the well armed man further ahead of her near the palisade wall to the east. You have used 25' of movement so far

You cannot see the alcove quite yet...

Danna to complete/retcon her actions, and Kyras and Grigor to go as well.

End of round 14

As the party rapidly closes the distance with the well armed man, he bares his teeth in a smile before bellowing out in a loud voice, The fish are in the barrel! before raising his shield and sword. (readied action)

In response to the signal, the Stag Lord appears at the rail of the second floor platform. (5' step) After quickly scanning his targets he focuses his gaze upon Grigor and lets fly two arrows at him... (full attack)

attack #1 w/bow: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (13) + 11 = 24
1d8 + 5 + 3d6 ⇒ (4) + 5 + (4, 1, 4) = 18

attack #2 w/bow: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (19) + 6 = 25

Akiros smiles another wolfish grin as he retreats around the corner and out of view...

Meanwhile, up on the platform above, the Staglord continues to let fly at Grigor before noticing Danna attempting to cast a spell. Switching targets, he sends his second arrow at her instead. Spell casting are we? We'll see about that...

attack @ Danna: 1d20 + 6 - 4 ⇒ (3) + 6 - 4 = 5
damage: 1d8 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 5 = 9

...and once more an arrow finds its deadly mark in Grigor's flesh! At this range, the arrow appears to just sprout his neck, causing an immediate eruption of blood! His crossbow slips from his grasp as he teeters momentarily before crashing to the ground! He clutches weakly at the arrow shaft protruding just above his collarbone before the world grows dark... (Grigor at -11 and dying)

Danna is much luckier, as the second arrow imbeds itself violently into the palisade wall well above her head. The solid sound it makes as it buries itself in the log indicating the deadliness and power of the errant strike.

She then retreats back to Grigor and quickly casts virtue on him in an attempt to temporarily staunch the blood and get him out. She calls to Kyras, Help me get him out of here!

I'm not sure how this works with the temporary hit point. Not sure if it brings him back to +1 until the spell wears off (or until he sustains more damage) as per house rules of healing or if it may count towards stabilizing him (temporarily of course). Anyway Move action to AU9/AU8 and standard action to cast.

Bjelich pauses to try and hear what is going on above them Perception Check (+4) to determine if the Staglord is still preoccupied; what can Bjelich hear? Can he see dust falling from the ceiling? What direction (stairs or the open air ceiling above the door?
And even if we do make it to the gate, there is a wagon and horses blocking our way. Are we just going to leave them? We'll be running on foot with no cover. He points to the arrows holes in his chest, No thanks! And what about Mikmek? Then how do you propose we get back in? Bjelich shakes his head, No, I think our best chance is to hold out here. Force them to come to us where we can use our numbers to our advantage.
Not that it will matter much but if the Staglord is coming down the stairs, I'd much rather barricade the door right now...
Forfeiting MA to give a speech. :) I don't think stopping to listen takes long to do so Bjelich should still have his SA which he is delaying pending his perception check

And if they decide to take our wagon and horses and go?...

Pretty sure we are still in combat.

Round 17 cont

DM only:
1d20 + 7 ⇒ (10) + 7 = 171d8 ⇒ 2
1d20 + 2 ⇒ (11) + 2 = 131d8 ⇒ 8

More curses fill the air, coming from above... while at the same time Akiros appears from the north and rushes up behind Gladius. Going somewhere?

Nope, I'm quite happy where I am, thank you... Bjelich moves back 5ft, MA to AS13, tanglefoot bag is still in his shield hand grasps the holy symbol with his free hand and speaking the ancient language of Erastil summons forth a wave of healing energy.
Channel Positive: 2d6 ⇒ (4, 3) = 7
Sorry guys, Erastil must be busy right now :( SA Channel Positive Energy; excluding Akiros (He's the guy in fancy armor, right? Is his sword drawn or is he going to fill Bjelich full of arrows?:)) and the Staglord above. As the door is still open Striker should also receive what few points of health Erastil could send. And for positive thinking, the stirge could use a point or two I'm sure :)
Current AC 18

Bjelich, perhaps a bit too confidently given the party's current predicament, turns and casually responds to Akiros before shifting and calling upon the divine favour of his patron god. As he does, Akiros sees Bjelich truly for the first time. His face contorts angrily before yelling in a primal rage, Sent to take me back eh?! I'd rather die out here in shame then go back!

Bjelich in turn notices that Akiros carries a heavy steel shield with a faded heraldic coat-of-arms of an Erastil worshipping paladin order based in Taldor. A battered holy symbol of Old Deadeye hangs around his neck as well, and an exquisite longbow hangs upon his back...

Grigor and Kyras feel the wave of positive energy wash over them.

Your healing burst does not have LoE to Striker (or Danna of course). There was an easy solution to this though. :P

What do mean busy? That is totally the bell curve, right on the button. Busy would have been (1, 2) = 3. ;)

Please, please, please! Include your up-to-the-round stats/status in every post people. :(

Pro tip: The trick is to reply to your own last round post (which has the aforementioned up-to-date state block included already) and make the updates/changes as required/necessary.

Danna is up!

Danna sighs as she hears Akiros, realizing they are not about to make their escape without dealing with him. Hoping to keep the stag lord distracted she begins casting again...

Grigor Round 18 Continued
Having leapt expeditiously onto his mount, Grigor next commands Gladius to attack the bandit (FA DC10 at +11, so automatic), draws his longsword (MA), and attacks Akiros as well, fighting defensively (SA).

Gladius attack:
Bite: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (16) + 4 = 201d4 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5
Hoof: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (3) - 1 = 21d6 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5
Hoof: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (17) - 1 = 161d6 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8
Those two hoof attacks may be at +4 also; unclear to me.

Grigor attack:
longsword (mounted, FD, low ceiling): 1d20 + 8 + 1 - 4 - 2 ⇒ (2) + 8 + 1 - 4 - 2 = 51d8 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8

Noticing that, as usual, a member of his party is eliminating mobility of his mount, he barks Bjelich, outtathawway! while he attacks.

Current Status and Effects
