Help finishing Warpriest build

Advice

15 point buy game where only one stat can go under 10. I have most of the class figured out, but I can't really figure out all the feats.

The class is replacing what a level 7 is currently in our game of Carrion Crown, so we're going to plan it around using Full Plate, a Buckler, and a scimitar.

The favored class bonus for 1/6 combat feat is taken too.

If anyone has suggestions, please post them. Originally had Furious focus, but found out it only works if you two hand a weapon. I don't think Step up is a smart investment, and this build can't do combat maneuver feats or take things like Dodge.

Ability Scores:
Str 15
Dex 12
Con 14
Int 10
Wis 14
Cha 7

Traits:
Reactionary and Fate’s Favored

Feats:
1. Weapon Focus (Scimitar), Toughness, Improved Initiative
3. Power Attack, +1 other General Feat (maybe Shield Focus)
5. Weapon Specialization
6. Bonus Combat feat, plus favored class combat feat from 1/6
7. General Feat
9. Greater Weapon Focus, Lunge
11. Quicken Blessing
12. Greater Weapon Specialization, Improved Critical
13+ ????

Blessings would be Repose and Healing from Pharasma.

Warpriest bonus feats are an invitation to do something a little beyond just picking up +1s - things like greater weapon focus are more handy filler after you've done something interesting than important feats. Some things that come to mind off the top of my head -

Admonishing Ray from the Taldor book (I think) is a really great no-save spell for a battle cleric - it's like Scorching Ray with non-lethal force damage, and each ray it shoots gets Divine Favor bonuses according to an FAQ about rays as 'weapons'. Where feats come in is that you can start to stack metamagic on your force rays (for cheap too, if you take the Magical Lineage trait). Empowering is an obvious choice and makes for a devastating ranged strike, while Toppling Spell is actually really good with Admonishing Ray since you can trip foes you zap with your character level as BAB and the bonus from Divine Favor added on as well. By the time you have level 4 spells, you can shoot multiple high-damage knockdown rays at things.

Speaking of tripping, if you dropped your CON to 12 (Toughness already covers that HP gap) and bumped INT to 13 you could go for tripping feats and Felling Smash - a standard attack that smacks an enemy to the ground and grants an AoO is a lot better than just charging. Tripping CMB benefits from both Divine Favor and your weapon enhancement (including sacred weapon), so it's actually pretty solid on a Warpriest. Bred for War is a very thematic trait for another +1 CMB.

If you can get your hands on the awesome Swordmaster's Flair: Blue Scarf at some point, then you could take Amateur Swashbuckler (plus Extra Panache and Slashing Grace: Scimitar to run your panache pool) and gain 5 feet of reach with your scimitar for a minute at a time, as a swift action. This is a third way to work in tripping as well, since you can AoO trip with reach or even pick up the Pommel Strike feat.

I don't think any of those options are going to work. Tripping is risky, and we really want to keep that stat array.

I don't think we can get access to that spell too.

I really need help filling out these feats.

The thing is, you've got a class/race picked out that specializes in having an insane number of feats... but you lack the prerequisites or exotic fighting styles that are normally the way people spend lots of feats. The last Warpriest concept I looked at used the Crane Style chain with 1-2 hand switching on a scimitar, because five feats isn't a problem for a human Warpriest. A Dual Talent Human would be a way to bump up your overall ability scores by a wide margin at a very small cost. Even taking another race with some interesting features wouldn't be a problem with your current build.

Anyhow, some other things...

You might want to grab Improved Critical with your level 9 bonus feat considering how nice it is with a scimitar.

A Quickdraw Light Shield from the APG and the Quickdraw feat is a very good combo, letting you basically fight two-handed with scimitar while defending with a light shield. Technically it's free-action grip switching and shield-moving, but flavor-wise it's basically just using a combat style where you put your shield-arm on your weapon to strike.

The spell Instrument of Agony from Ultimate Combat is very good for a melee Cleric - it lasts 1 minute per level on your weapon until you choose to unleash it as a free action with a hit, and then it badly shuts down the target if they fail a save. You could take the Magical Lineage trait with that and use Persistent Spell to make it extremely difficult for enemies to save against.

I'm going to look up that spell. This is a medium BAB class, so Improved Critical would only be accessible at level 11.

We're trying to salvage the current character without losing all the benefits and gear they've accumulated, especially the experiences that character has had with the party.

Considering Dual minded has given me a lot of help with changing stuff around. Thank you for pointing that out!

The Warpriest bonus feats allow you to treat your Warpriest level as your BAB for prerequisites, so you can use the level 9 Warpriest bonus feat to take Improved Critical.

Being able to take feats early like that is a really good Warpriest feature - the thing I mentioned with Crane Style can pick up the full chain by level 9. Instead of a shield, you get a total of +5-7AC when defending with your sword in one hand, you get to make counterattacks, and then you can free-action change to a two-handed grip just long enough to make your actual attacks. The only thing is that you need 13DEX... and five feats. Still, it's awesome for a melee character.

Develop your critting. Crit Mastery and all those other nasty crit effects like Bleeding Critical, Tripping Strike, Seize the Moment, and stuff like that.

If you use Kukri and simitar you can double up on those crits. Or, if you are using a shield, use a light shield as your off-hand weapon, doing Sacred Weapon Damage. Take the Bashing Enchantment to do even more damage. Take Shield Slam, Greater Bull Rush so you pass out Attacks of Opportunity to your allies, then take Paired Opportunist so you get AoOs yourself. The Shield Slam AoO build can be devastating.
