It didn't get its own announcement on the Paizo blog, but rather was included as part of a post after the con. It's been on the wiki since August 18.
As a encyclopedia of setting canon, the card game largely covers events already established in the adventure paths they draw from. I don't buy or play the ACG, so I can't really contribute canon details regarding what's unique to the ACG. However, we're an all-volunteer operation and always looking for help!
SlappyWhite, let me know where you're looking for (and not finding) the base set and I'll update that part of the wiki.

Please understand that I wasn't knocking Pathfinderwiki. I use it for information on settings and other background information from time to time. I was simply inferring that the most up-to-date information about upcoming products would be found here on Paizo's site.
Also, I find that some game sites are lacking in support for questions and rulings and lots of people go to sites like BGG (which is also a valuable resource). But Paizo's website is one of the most interactive that I've seen for Pathfinder products, both RPG and ACG (and PFS).

Agreed, and no offense taken! We do try to keep the wiki up-to-date, though, and I was a bit puzzled as the Mummy's Mask Base Set in particular had been on the wiki for a few weeks. Just want to make sure we're not missing a reference to it where there should be one!
