Nearly finished shopping, Best item for 3500gp at 10th level

Advice

Hey there forum, just levelled up to 10. Wondering the best item to blow my last 3500 on.

What do ya think!
Char is a Greatsword wielding Gorumite Inquisitor with the RAGE subdomain. Playing in Rappan Athuk mega dungeon

Doesn't have to be a combat item.
Don't need a ring of sustenance because he knows CREATE WATER and there's a town nearby. Wand of KEEP WATCH to avoid sleeping.

What items do you already have and what class are you?

Edited.

Class and items above.

I would drop 10 GP on spring loaded wrist sheaths for your combat-relevant wands and save the rest towards a Jingasa of the Fortunate Soldier. Unless I missed something your head slot is open and the Jingasa is pretty sweet (+1 luck bonus to AC, once a day you get to negate an opponent's crit).

If the money is really burning a hole in your pocket you might want to pick up a silversheen weapon. Counts as alchemical silver without the -1 to damage, and is immune to rust effects.

Unless I missed it, a headband of wisdom could be nice.

Trust me. The Jingasa is number 1 priority, but we tend to stay in the Dungeon till we are nearly tapped out. I suspect when we come back to town again we'll be level 11 and a ton of cash. Will buy it then.

Want to spend this money now.

The wrist sheaths are a great idea, but what wands would I use?
Not a wand of Divine Favor becsause my current bonus (with Fortune's Favored Trait) is +4 from the spell. Maybe as a back up....

If you want to spend now and not save for something better, a Lens of Detection would be pretty good; +5 Perception and +5 Tracking...

List of items (in addition to jingasa):

Boots of Speed (12k)
Pale Green Cracked Ioun Stone (4k) [+1 competence to attack]
Pale Green Cracked Ioun Stone (4k) [+1 competence to saves]
Dusty Rose Cracked Ioun Stone (500) [+1 competence to initiative]
Quick Runner's Shirt (1k) [move as a swift action 1/day]

Boots of speed should always be top of queue for a melee oriented character.

Maybe. It would get me 1 more 4th level spell slot. Almost none of my spells are save based....

Stalker's mask could be cool (I back up the rogue when sneaking)

ANNNND we have a winner!

Pale Green Cracked Ioun Stone (4k) [+1 competence to attack]

Followed closely by
Lens of tracking.

Thanks guys.

Ah, I didn't do the math so I assumed you were using the ones you had. Having the CLW available as a swift action could certainly be handy depending on how persnickety your GM is about drawing wands on the move. In general I'd look for a first level spell that is on your spell list but that isn't worth keeping prepared all the time. And that would be helpful if you cast it in the first round of combat.

Just skimming the inquisitor list I'd say Bless and True Strike look like useful candidates.

In addition to the ioun stones that have been suggested, if you want to look for cheaper options the cracked blue incandescent sphere can give you +1 to perception for 200 GP. A cracked Pink and Green Sphere would let you bump intimidate, and a cracked Scarlet and Blue Sphere would let you bump spellcraft.

As an inquisitor it would also be a plus to initiative and a few other abilities, skills and saves. The inquisitor really uses wisdom a lot for a partial caster.

You spent 6k upgrading the ring and amulet to +2. The AC ioun stone and the jingasa are both just 5k for the same benefit. Also as an inquisitor you should probably skip the ring and just cast shield of faith.

It seems that you craft your own weapons, so a ring of sustenance can still be useful (depending how strict your GM is about crafting rules) since it will let you craft at night, which keep watch won't.

Grand Lodge

Belated, but a cracked pearly white spindle ioun stone (3400gp) grants you the regeneration trait (as the ring, not the monster ability), but only heals 1hp/hour. However, having the regeneration effect means you can reattach/regrow limbs, are immune to bleed, and heal a LOT faster than natural speed (24HP + natural every day). You can even embed it in your body and avoid the risk of it getting swiped/damaged (see the book Seekers of Secrets) if you have the in-game time to do it.

Silver Crusade

Never underestimate the power of the ring if sustenance.

2 hour rests for full 8 day rests? Oh yes.

RPG Superstar 2012 Top 16

With FOrtune's Favored the luck bonus from the Jingasa is actually +2, no? Best use of your money.
