One of my friends just started putting some painting guides together for my blog. First one just got posted if anyone's interested:

The Grassy Gnoll | Painting Guide: Cybertronic Chasseurs (Warzone Resurrection)

Good job. Excellent thinking on the blue wash over the pallid flesh tones.

I'd rather do the armor/weapons drybrush before starting to work on the flesh tones, because it's a messy technique and could ruin a rather long and accurate paintjob.

I shall pass the feedback along to Evs! He's my go to painter when I need something to look good, since I have approximately no talent for painting.

He's actually working on my Cerci Speed Circuit army for Relic Knights at the moment, while I do my best to not make my Star Nebula Corsairs backup army look like a bunch of shambling paint blobs.

Response from Evs:

That would be the better order to do things in, but over the years I've gotten to the habit of doing my flesh tones first over my metallics or fatigues.

Thank you for your kind words and in the future I'll endeavor to show different methods and orders for painting your figures.

Also to keep in mind the armour and gun casing only needs the lightest of drybrushes to achieve the over all effect, so it isn't like you're going hell for leather like you would normally with this technique.

If you're interested in continuing the conversation with him, feel free to comment on the post, since he should get email notifications about that (he's actually not on the Paizo boards since he's not really a roleplayer).
