Mine was supposed to be 'signature-confirmed' Priority mail delivery.
The mail-person just shoved it in the mailbox and took off. Thankfully I had the day off so I was able to recover it without it getting soaked in the ensuing downpour.
If it happened here, it's bound to be happening elsewhere.
