GWL's gamebook thread

Books

Someone else mentioned Endless Quest books in another thread, and I thought it could be fun to discuss these choose your own adventure type books along with other Gamebooks. Of course, they are too numerous to really mention, but I figure discussing ones we enjoyed and loved would not be a bad thing. I can also reminisce here about them. I suppose I could start reading them and report about them here?

So, starting with Endless quest you have

Dungeon of Dread - fighter in a Dungeon
Mountain of Mirrors - Elf saves people from a Frost Giant and his white dragon
Pillars of Pentegarn - Wizard, Fighter, Rogue, and you go on a treasure hunt (no cleric which is why skeletons can screw you over!)
Return to Brookmere - Elf Warrior sneaking through monster infested city
Revolt of the Dwarves - unhappy dwarves
Revenge of the Rainbow Dragons - Return of Jamie from Pillars of Pentegarn
Hero of Washington Square - a Top Secret based book
Villains of Volturnus - Perhaps my least favorite of the EQ line
Robbers and Robots - Another TS book, but I can't remember it
Circus of Fear - A circus dominated by Dopplegangers
Spell of the Winter Wizard - My second least favorite EQ book
Light on Quest Mountain - I have it, but never read it yet
Dragon of Doom - Your mad uncle wants to summon a really big Black Dragon (also my favorite of the EQ books)
Raid on Nightmare Castle - Human raised on Elves goes to fight evil

and about 20+ more books in that line

Then you have others I may eventually get too

Wizards, Warriors, and you
Timequest
Falcon
Advanced Endless Quest which eventually became AD&D gamebooks
Lone Wolf
World of Lone Wolf
Highway Warrior
Fighting Fantasy
Golden Dragon
Blood Sword
Grailquest
Way of the Tiger
Catacombs
Sagard
Fabled Lands
Narnia Chronicles
Tolkien/Middle Earth Quest
Aegean? Chronicles
Taradoin

May be a few more but my full collection is currently packed up. When it gets unpacked, I'll probably be able to read more and add more to this thread.

However, for all those nostalgiacs about Gamebooks out there, this could be the thread for it!!!
