A bit about us -
We are a business oriented company, attempting to bring the clever elements and style of the Ferengi from Star Trek and the Hutts from Star Wars into a mold that could add some uniqueness against the otherwise common or generic companies out there. We practice a keen business sense and bring an aggressive approach to our pursuits.
We are independent in all things, just as a business is in America, or Germany, or any other country, so to is AGC where ever it decides to reside in PFO. We strive to challenge ourselves and the game itself where applicable.
While we play for today, our main focus is actually on tomorrow. We are building for a distant future, gradually laying the foundations that may one day give birth to a Merchant Empire. Do not mistake us for the corner shop in the market, for we may expand, encroach, bribe, coerce, use diplomacy, assassinate, go to war or just flat-out out compete with others to accomplish our goals.
We are the fighting Merchants of Golarion!
We are full of ambitious, self-sufficient, hearty, independent and mature individuals who desire more than the cookie cutter company and here at AGC we hope to offer just that. Something a little different, something with a little edge to it, and something not afraid to take risks.
We are not communal in the traditional sense. You have to earn and work for what you want. The company itself sees everything as a value, including your time. We have our own internal market structure where you can buy and sell to the company. All items bought from the company are done so at a profit to the company so you own those items completely. What does that mean? It means you are free to do with them as you see fit, sell them on the open market, use them for yourself, or trade them to another player without feeling as if you're taking away from the company.
We do encourage trade(barter) between members, but the company itself only deals in copper.
We are new player friendly and will help you get on your feet. We have a very limited command structure giving you, the member, the flexibility to both seek adventures on your own or join in the many company events. Everything is optional in AGC. We run a casual company in a fake world. We are a company of players, by players, and for players. Come help steer us into the unknown, join a place where your ideas are just as valuable as you are.
We believe in a realistic approach to the game and diplomacy. Avoiding gamey tactics, and have a zero policy towards exploits.
