Pathfinders and Scurvy Pirates,
Kublacon is beginning to appear on the horizon (Memorial Day weekend, May 22-25), and Pirate Rob and his crew invite you to a weekend of nostalgia and newness, Core and Normal, scurvy pirates plying their nefarious trade in an Italian restaurant (hmm!) and 3, yes count them, 3 specials. For those who want to test their mettle there will be Bonekeep 3 and for those who like a long story there will of course be modules.
Fangwood Keep
Broken Chains
Doom Comes to Dustpawn
Plunder & Peril (apparently with some awesome terrain)
There will be sessions of the adventure card game organized play being offered in Scalini’s, next door to our tree rooms so beware of pirates as you come to play an RPG session.
We have a tentative schedule planned but this is your opportunity to chime in. Is there something missing that you really want to play? Is there a scenario or module that you want to GM ‘cause you have some amazing terrain or just because you think it’s a great mod? Now is your chance to get something added!
We will be offering a trip back in time to when the Shadow Lodge emerged as a force in the Pathfinder Society. Some foreshadowing with early appearances of Grandmaster Torch; a trip to Kaer Maga, and the special “Year of the Shadow Lodge’ Friday night for those of you who can make it to Burlingame after work (or just take the whole day off and join us at 2pm).
More Shadow Lodge scenarios will follow. The question is, do you want them in Classic mode or Core?

Kubla!
Lady O’s schedule of awesome:
Fri Night: Playing The Test of Tar Kuata
Saturday All Day: The Running of The Silverhex Chronicles
Sun Morning: Off – Breakfast, wander dealers room, talk to people.
Sun Afternoon: Playing – The Fires of Karamoss (Otherwise my homeskillet Zach will be mad)
Sun Evening: Playing – The Scions of The Sky Key Part 3
Mon Morning: Playing – From Under Ice
Mon Afternoon: Playing – City of Strangers Pt. 2 (Played the first part at ConQuest Sac, looking forward to completing the series)
While I would like to get the coin, I just really want to get some gaming time and enjoy the convention instead of work the entire time. It’s all good.

This year's convention was great!
I want to throw out a big thank you to Pirate Captain Rob, his Lieutenants, Mitch Anderson, Wendy-Ann and John Francis, and all of the many volunteers & GMs that made this a great convention.
I'd also like to give a special thanks to Earl Bingham and David Li for running a really fun and exciting Plunder and Peril adventure.
Thanks to all and see you next year!

I'd like to add Joshua Sigman and James Anderson to that shout out as well as Pirate Rob who allowed John and me to enjoy a con weekend with no responsibilities (our work was behind the scenes before the con).
...and now on to Pacificon. Keeps your eyes out for updates from the Silicon Valley VLs soooon!!!!!
Edit: Ooooh, look at the pretty shiny extra star!!!!!!

Particular bits of awesomeness:
Joshua Sigman having everything set up before I arrived and opening our desk every morning by 8am.
Kelli for inputting about half our results before the con was even finished.
Venus for overseeing Year of the Shadow Lodge and Roy for overseeing Legacy of the Stonelords.
Joshua Archer for running 2 awesome tables. Our players were in such awe they wanted to know where you regularly GMed so they could get on more of your tables. We miss you.
Scott Cortinas for taking my orders to do whatever Venus said seriously, even when he got stuck in the hotel lobby for ~30 minutes.
James Anderson for having a zillion maps/printouts.
Mitch for designing our new Traveler Boon and generally being awesome.
The Francis's for dealing with so much of the precon warhorn headache/juggling/planning.
KublaCon staff for fixing our ACG tables, and getting refunds to my GMs that needed it.
Every single GM for providing a great experience to our players.
The players at my 150th table for putting up with our front desk needing my help for what felt like a dozen times.
