Voluntarily Reduced Module Chronicle?

If you GM a module (3xp, 4pp, Xgp), can you voluntarily take a reduced reward 2xp, 2 pp, 2/3Xgp or even 1xp, 1pp, 1/3Xgp?

The only way to do so is to apply it to a character on Slow progression.

I can only guess this is for the Eyes of the Ten restriction?

Only way to do this is to simply not play 1/3rd or 2/3rds of the module.
