ERRATA request, Armor Master "Deflective Shield"

"Deflective Shield (Ex): At 2nd level, an armor master
specializes in using his shield to deflect attacks. He gains
a +1 bonus to his touch AC, and this bonus increases for
every four levels beyond 2nd (to a maximum of +6 at 20th
level); however, this bonus cannot exceed the sum of the
armor and enhancement bonus to AC provided by the
shield that the armor master is currently carrying. This
ability replaces bravery."

Every four levels beyond second....

2nd level (+1), 6th level (+2), 10th level (+3), 14th level (+4), 18th level (+5)...so how does it get to +6 at 20th level?

You've done the math to figure out what bonuses you get when. The +6 looks like a simple typo to me.

The every 4 levels part looks like the typo. Since if it is suppossed to cap with +6 at 20 it would be +1 every 3 levels. The way it is written with incorrect math it would cap at +5 at level 18. Definitely needs a FAQ or errata correction.

Usually every bonus for fighters stacks to 5 nit 6 so the six is typo
for example armor training and weapon training goes up every 4 levels not ev e y 3 levels

JamesVDZ, +1 every 3 levels wouldn't cap at +6 at 20 either. It would hit +7 at 20 (2, 5, 8, 11, 14, 17, 20).

Since that would be two errors rather than just one I am guessing the cap is actually +5.
