Multiboxing / Multiple Accounts

So, I am thinking of getting a second account and have some questions.

Would I be able to log both accounts in at the same time on the same computer? (Two monitors and switching between the two windows control wise.)

Is it planned to allow multiple characters from the same account to be logged in at the same time? (Probably with the limitation of no DTs at the same time.)

If yes to the above, is there a plan to allow us to merge accounts so we don't have to deal with multiple logins?

And finally, to make a second account, would I be correct in assuming I have to create a new GW account to go with it?

You can log two different accounts in at the same time on the same computer.

We would like to enable the ability to log in two different characters at the same time but right now making that happen is a low priority and the feature has no eta.

There is no plan to merge accounts or to move characters between accounts at this time.

Yes, you have to have a unique account on goblinworks.com for each.

We were able to do this during Alpha, what happened?

We determined that there were a number of client-side caches and memory structures that were not being cleared correctly when logged in to the same account twice. Rather than spending time trying to figure out those problems we blocked the ability to log in twice to the same client.
