So, It Seems Custom Minis Are A Thing...

Miniatures

The cardboard cut outs found in the bestiary boxes and sold in sheets in game stores the world over are great for DMs who need to field armies in a hurry. When it comes to players though you might want something a little more solid... and a little more personal.

I just found out about Hero Forge, and I'm considering making a purchase at the start of the next campaign I play (I'm almost done with Curse of the Crimson Throne, so I see no reason to get all hyped up NOW). Just thought folks might like to check out what I found right here and discuss it amongst themselves.

Cool beans man, thanks. Takes care of my own plan to get a 3d printer and design my own custom minis myself.

Though at this point I'm still considering it for objects and terrain.

I have a 3d printer (a Flashforge), and everybody should have one of these things. Its amazing!

Edymnion, how is it price-wise so far? I know it's relatively new, but can you speak to what it costs both up-front, and for "toner"?
