Chronicle 6–07:Valley of Veiled Flame

Can some one explain what this part of the chronicle dose. It just dose not make sense to me.

Oread’s Favor: You have earned the recognition of a large group oread geniekin. This boon may be used in conjunction with other boons to grant one or more of your characters access to oread-related options.

If you have played The Glass River Rescue, it is similar to a boon on that one. Look for things to come in future scenarios.

My own theory, or perhaps my hope:

This boon may in conjunction with other boons unlock a new race as playable. But since boons can come from more than just a Scenario, the question remains will this be unlock from just playing a scenario or does it require a new convention boon?
