Detect Magic on a Soulbound Doll??

Will Detect Magic on a soulbound doll do anything?

It does not appear it would. Soulbound doll, while very item-like, is a construct, and constructs, like most creatures, do not inherently give off auras unless something specific give it one. Soulbound dolls do not seem to have any effect on them that give it an aura, so no, detect magic would not work on them.
