Just wondering if there will be any Pathfinder Society gaming at this convention, does anybody know anything?

As visible hereUlysses, the german Pathfinder reseller will be there with their team. I´m not sure if they offer PFS, but they had their own introduction and play team for sure.

If you´re asking about PFS games in that area and on that fair, best ask the regional coordinators there.

Essen is VERY different to conventions like GenCon. You pay a lot for table space. This means that you would either have to charge somewhere in the region of 20Euro per game to recoup the cost or you need someone who sponsors it.
This means most games are rather drop-in. Something like Beginner Bash is much better suited for a company. The best would be to organize something elsewhere in the evening - having a single evening slot.
I did something like this I think 4 years ago - but doing so from the UK without a good space to game was difficult. I ended up having 2 slots going private to people I connected with on the internet.
But this would be the best way forward. Off course all restaurants etc. close by will be booked out / prefer non-gaming customers to a PFS game. So someone 'local' would need to know a place not tooooo far away and ideally reachable by public transport as well.

Edit: I would say this would be for me a reason to maybe coming over again.
