A hunter may teach her companion hunter’s tricks from the skirmisher ranger archetype (Pathfinder RPG Advanced Player’s Guide 128) instead of standard tricks

Is there any clarification on how this functionality is suppose to work? It doesn't say anything about uses per day, which makes sense honestly given how underwhelming the hunter class is overall.

In addition to the spells gained by hunters as they gain levels, each hunter also automatically adds all summon nature’s ally spells to her list of spells known. These spells are added as soon as the hunter is capable of casting them.

This seems to imply that summoning nature's ally was intended to be a worthwhile class feature. However with you capping at level 6 druid spells they seem to not be very useful past the lower levels. Am I missing something?

has there been any more discussion on this anywhere? or maybe a comment from a developer?

i'm especially curious about the first question (which seems to effect sacred huntsmaster inquisitors too)... as written the power is nebulous at best... do they ignore the times/day? or use their HD as effective ranger levels? or have 0 ranger levels so they just get uses/day equal to Wis bonus?

While I really want an answer to this, Hunter is anything but underwhelming. It's the most powerful pet class in the game.

Nothing official yet that I've found, but this thread has some helpful comments. My initial thoughts were that the skirmishers tricks were effectively unlimited, however as it was made clear that slayers get all of the baggage that a ranger gets with combat tricks I am no longer quite so confident. If it is limited I struggle to see how it can be anything other than treating AC HD as ranger levels.
