Twitch just implemented the engine that Youtube uses for copy written music.
http://blog.twitch.tv/2014/08/3136/
Basically, they're muting VODs and streams that play music*, and removing all videos (with and without music) three weeks or older.
Some streamers are moving over to other smaller streaming services... I'm curious where PFO streamers will be on sept 15th.
*in game music is being muted too !

Again, it is just recorded video, streams are not being muted.
What they do is scan videos in 30min chunks, if there is copyrighted material in that chunk it gets muted.
If you plan on having videos turn off game music, and don't broadcast copyrighted music. There are a few solutions out there for music chatrooms if you want music for your channel. I can't recall their names.

Hi guys!
Just wanted to touch base here.
1. This will not be implemented on live streaming. Only for VODS.
2. We are working on giving Twitch approval to not mute our music. In the mean time just make sure that you start the stream after the intro music to be on the safe side. Once we give Twitch approval and they get it in the system, I will let you all know.
3. Goblinworks is not going to another stream. We will stay with Twitch.tv and on the same channel.
Thanks guys!
