If a creature has regeneration, and is at negative HP, does it still need to roll a Constitution check to keep from losing another point?

Does the regeneration ability automatically stabilize a creature?

Leathal or subdual dammage? All négative lethal dammage ( as fire to a troll) yes, roll for stabilisation. Subdual dammage is no (like blunt to a troll).

I am not sure what you mean, since Regeneration can come from 2 sources.

If it is from the spell source, then no, it does not, since it is an instantaneous duration effect, and there is no healing taking place afterward.

If it is from the monster source, then yes, since it regains health at an equivalent to fast healing; it regains hit points every round, and healing of any kind would remove the need for a stabilize check, since healing of any kind would stabilize the creature. Unlike fast healing, however, it can usually be disabled when affected by certain subjects, and once disabled the creature bleeds normally.

Regeneration doesn't work like that anymore. Regeneration

No, Regenerate is a spell. Regeneration (which the OP asked about) is an Extraordinary Special Ability.

NogoodscallywagThe healing from Regeneration would automatically stabilize the creature, removing the need for stabilization checks.

The thing where regeneration converted everything to nonlethal damage was replaced with different rules in Pathfinder.
