I'm trying to gauge interest for a Paizo Team for Folding@home. I figure there might be some people who are already familiar with Folding@home, but for those who don't know, it is a distributed computing project. That's where volunteers donate their unused CPU cycles to help process data. In this case, how proteins fold and unfold in order to better understand a number of diseases, such as: Alzheimer's, Huntington's, and various cancers.
Here's a the URL for their website http://folding.stanford.edu/. I'd be happy to try to answer any questions people might have. If a couple people are interested, I'll make the team and post info in this thread.
