Good D&D / TRPG themed comics that dont reinforce negative stereotypes?

I'm a big amateur of webcomics. But I've noticed a disappointing trend, in that most of them focus on the ABSOLUTE WORST stereotypical behavior of TRPG players. You've seen them, always with the A) Token powergamer B) Token murderhobo C) Token psychopath & D) Token "average" person.

It's getting a bit tiresome, and I'm getting sick of looking because authors seem to favor playing off those stereotypes a LOT. So I'm wondering if people had any decent recommendations for me.

I guess a recent example of this would be this:

It's by no means a bad webcomic, but I'm looking for something different set around TRPGs I guess.

Webcomics focused on RPG's tend towards the lowbrow end of the market.

Because if you think of it... tying your story to a game system is an inherently silly idea.

Have you read the Table Titans? I think it avoids somehow these tropes and has focus sometimes on life around the table as well outside of it. Really great, you should check it out.

Every time there is a successful creative idea, hot on its heels come the imitators (especially those who love the idea). Fact of life, but especially easy given modern i.t. systems, anyone can publish and anyone can review. As useful as finding an artist you like is finding a reviewer you can trust these days, peer review almost always reeks of nepotism, and so unoriginal and average ideas can be marketed as better than they actually are (just look at the music industry).

Your time is precious, have a reading strategy, and if you take the risk of reading something unknown, do so based on the recommendation of someone you can trust.

I'm a big fan of Goblins, which turns a lot of fantasy tropes on their head, and later on becomes absolutely gorgeous as the author becomes a better artist.

Also, Rusty & Co, which is another "monsters as adventurers" comic which is a lot more slapstick and takes itself a lot less seriously than Goblins does.

These are both less "comics about gamers" and more "comics for gamers" so it might not be exactly what you're talking about, but they are still highly recommended.

Order of the Stick?
Although, past the first ~150 pages, it becomes less and less about D&D and more like a (IMO) great story that just happens to be set in a world in which people know what skill points are.

AHH! Each one mentionned I've powered through quite recently in my search (I quite liked rusty & co, makes me want to play a monsters game).
