No. The United States has a very complex set of rules about copyright terms that basically say "anything published after 1923 will never come out of copyright." We can thank Disney and its lobbyists for this -- the Mouse is just too valuable to allow to go into the public domain.
Basically, Congress raised the term to 95 years post-publication in a series of steps. The intention is clearly that when we get closer to 2018 (95 years post 1923), Congress will raise it again, ad infinitum. The SCOTUS has ruled that this is not unconstitutional.
