Who can make use of the animal companion boon? *Spoiler*

I will be running the Quest for Perfection sometime this winter or spring. I will be applying the chronicle sheets to a new GM PC.

One of the boons is to gain an Axebeak to use as a mount or animal companion.

I will be making a Order of the Tome Cavalier. Does he have to be of the Beast Rider archtype to be able to ride an Axe Beak? I would rather a different or no archtype, but will take BR if necessary.

A friend will be making a Hunter from the new ACG. He won't have any problems taking it if he wants. Correct?

The Boon gives axes to an Axe Beak Animal companion for those who do not normally have access to it.

-Cavalier and Cavalier Archtypes (at level 4 when it becomes large, immidiatly if Cavalier is small)
-Ranger
-Paladin(?)

Beast Rider and Druids already have access to it via their Class features.
