Hi.
I've been talked into running PFS at my local game store and am unsure which module to run. I know there is the ongoing campaign and story. Do I need to run something that ties into that or can I simply pick an older module that I like the look of and think will work well in the shop?
Thanks in advance.

Well, assuming you are starting a new PFS group (i.e. everyone is going to have brand new characters) then it would make sense to run a bunch of the level one intro series:
First steps
Master of the Fallen Fortress
That will get you through the next week or so, and then The Confirmation will be out, and you can run that. All of these are designed to be for pathfinders who are just starting out.

There is no absolute need to play a newer scenario. We just had a game day at our FLGS, and they were offering a season 0, a season 1, a two-parter from season 3, a season 4, and a couple from season 5. Almost every table was full. So if it seems fun, and if there's interest for it, run it. It doesn't matter what season it's from, as long as they're having fun. (And, of course, the players know that they may be coming across characters who may be dead or otherwise since it's an older scenario. But typically players take that in stride.)
