ok i have looked at the resource list and the class is not banned. the bonus feats granted by it are tho.
my friend made 1 for her pfs character but was told its not legal.

so my question is, what is the final ruling for this archetype? is it legal? can they take the feats granted to em or not?

im hoping for an answer from john,mike or someone else that can make the final call

The additional resources are quite clear on this issue, bestiary feats are normally forbidden except in the case that you have another legal source that gives you access to the feat, the Shapeshifter ranger archetype is a legal archetype that grants you explicit access to certain feats from the bestiary so you may use those feats (but not any other feats that are not explicitly listed in the archetype)

"Feats: none of the feats are legal for play for PCs, animal companions, or familiars unless specifically granted by another legal source."

thats what i thought but she has people telling her its not so im hopin for a statement from someone that will make it clear to even venture officers that are misinformed
