Gobbo-blog - Philanthropy in MMOs: The Art of Giving (Part 2) by Hobs

Pathfinder Online

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Mr. Hobs has presented the second part of his blog. He goes a bit deeper on how everyone can benefit from helping the new player population, how things have been done like this in the past, and why it's important to welcome new players. Check it out on Gobbocast!!

+1 again, Hobs. I really liked your anecdotes about Ultima Online. Here's to hoping Good is more than just a mechanical label for at least some people, and we have some legitimately nice people in this dog-eat-dog world.

An inspiring read Hobs. I really hope that the overall "Community Attitude" falls into something along those lines. With you there it will be well on it's way! :)

Excellent read and agreed on all points I believe. I'm a big believer in that if you create a welcoming environment, (hopefully many) people will remember that and pass it on to others later leading to an all-around better gaming experience.
