Ladies and Gentlemen,
We are happy to present the first Gobbo-Blog by Hobs!! It's about the art of giving and stuff. We asked for a synopsis from Mr. Hobs, but he declined to comment so you'll just have to read it for yourself on Gobbocast!!
**The opinions expressed in this blog are not necessarily the opinions of Gobbocast or its staff.**

Good blog Hobs. I do hope that our community does more than just a free hand out. Teaching some one how to help themselves works so much better than just saying "Here, now get lost". That approach just leads to that person most likely needing the same help again. Instead, teach him how to fix the problem, or how to figure out how to fix problems. These things are invaluable.

Don't think you have us all tricked Hobs! Some of us are onto you!
BEWARE PEOPLE, the GREEN HAT........
Suddenly a young nanny yells from a balcony, down at a children's party, "This is for you Hobs, it is all for you". Then she throws herself over the edge and hangs herself."
In all seriousness, great blog Hobs.... A slight departure from seriousness, again.....
Will there be Sanctioned and Ubsanctioned Philanthropy, discussed in part 2?

Well written, Hobs, but considering that you were author we should be unsurprised.
It occurs to me that there are other 'types' of player I'd rather did not oppress PFO, other than the griefer: the whining beggar who insists on begging for handouts in /tell over and over, and the spammer.
Well known philanthropic organizations should help us distinguish between the opportunists and the needy. If the character resists availing himself of the philanthropic solution he can safely be ignored, and the truly needy will have been provided an acceptable solution.
