Hey, folks.
This might be kind of a silly thread to start up, but have any of you ever had your eyes and even heart set on a certain RPG product--be it a printed work, a PDF, a soundtrack, or anything else of the sort--that you ended up never having for whatever reason (e.g., a PDF file or MP3 album that ended up being forever deleted from the seller's online shop)? If so, feel free to share your stories here.
Oh, and don't hesitate to talk about any system said product used, either. I know I'm posting this on the d20 message board, but I won't limit the conversation strictly to d20 products.

You do know that The Great Modron March is available in PDF from DriveThruRPG for $9.99, right? Link.
Anyway, I'm now running a PFRPG campaign in the Grand Duchy of Karameikos. What a shame I didn't get GAZ1 in PDF when I had the chance!
And outside of D&D / Pathfinder, my favorite RPG is MEGS. It started out as "DC Heroes" by Mayfair. I got the first edition, and had great fun with it. I remember seeing the 3rd edition at the bookstore, and flipping through it, but I never got it. Later, when I got back into MEGS, I saw that the system was recreated as "Blood of Heroes" by Pulsar Games. I got it, and decided that I wanted the revised rules. The problem with "Blood of Heroes" is that it's full of characters and a game-world description that are boring and poorly written. I wish I had gotten "DC Heroes" 3rd Edition so that I could use a book with characters that everyone knows!

I do and will probably eventually pick them up but I still want the print originals to complete my collection. :-)

The GAZ series is great and Karameikos is my favorite. The new Threshold magazine issue #1 on Vaults of Pandius has a lot of great Karameikos content, check it out if you haven't already. I'm pretty sure sooner or later WotC will get PDFs of the GAZ series up on dndclassics. I have all of them in print but I'll probably get some of the PDFs (GAZ1 and 3 at a minimum).

I never picked up 3E DCH either, since I only saw in once back in the before times when you had to go to a store to buy RPG stuff. I played a lot of 2E, though, and that may be the one you want to try and find. It comes with three rulebooks (including a 250+ character book), a GM screen, character cards, and an active wheel to give action/effect results.
Blood of Heroes is a good system, but not such a great campaign world. I only use it as updated rules for my DCH characters.
If you like DCH, you may want to check out the new DC Adventures system. It is loosely based on the OGL and Mutants and Masterminds. I haven't yet actually run a session (I'm still wrapping my brain around the different combat mechanic), but there is a lot of support material, and the basic rulebook contains most of the iconic characters in good detail.
My apologies for the minor threadjack. To get back on track, I never picked up any of the 2E DCH supplements and sourcebooks. There were a bunch of Marvel Super Heroes supplements I wanted, but those are pretty much all available on PDF these days if you know where to look.

The handful of Planescape products I never picked up, in particular The Great Modron March and Dead Gods which are pretty pricey to get these days.
Pretty much this.
Plus a couple of the Planes books that came out around the same time.
That are very expensive now to find in print.
The original white box of D&D would also be nice to have as it was just a little bit before my time.

Hey! Cool answers, everyone! Sorry for responding so late, but here are mine:
Arcane Classes: Santeria and Secret Societies: Ordo Templi Orientis by 93 Games Studio. Should have picked up these two PDFs in particular to complete my d20 Modern advanced classes collection before 93GS went out of business back in 2010. Oh, and Arcane Adventures: Blood of Dionysus would've been a fun read, too. Stupid mistake on my part to have let any of these three flutter off my radar back in the day...
Arcane Duelist from Mob United Media's OGL Frontline series.
Mindcraft by Alea Games Publishing.
Thanks for replying, everyone!

I heard of a super rare RPG based on Dune. I think.it was called Chronicles of the Imperium.
I hope to complete a collection of Dungeon Magazine.
I had this in my hand at the WotC booth at Gen Con 2000. It was late in the con and I was tempted but I had already spent a ton in the vendor area so I left it there. I regret it now.
