Last Chance for Way of the Kirin Retirement Boon

Hello everyone!

I was wondering if anyone would like to partake in a last chance running of Way of the Kirin, right before the cut off date. This will be run at the Embassy Suites in downtown Indianapolis at 4:00 pm on Tuesday, August 13th(if needed, we'll work with the time). I'll make sure to have reporting in and done before midnight to ensure everything is legal.

I will be running this scenario, and I already have 1 player interested in playing. Just respond to this thread to RSVP, and I'll put down your screen name on the following list.

I and two friends woiuld be interested. I'm trying toi introduce them to pfs and this would be a good opportunity to do it. where in the embassy?

We'll meet whoever is interested at the check-in desk. Jim and I will check with the staff to see where we can play, worst case we can use a room, but we'll probably be able to use some space in a dining area.

Have you played Way already, GMed it, or both Vincent? I've read enough of it to prep that I'd have to play like I had already GMed it, so cautious of meta-gaming. If you GMed but not played, you are welcome to play. If it is the reverse, you can GM if you want and I'll play. If its both, I think you technically might only be allowed to GM. Depending on how I am reading the section in the Guide, if its not to reach minimum table size, replaying seems to not be allowed (except for the new rules in V5.0).

Anyway, for both, you are more than welcome to GM if you want to.

I'm thinking I'll call it. It would be really close to finish before midnight and get it reported for the boon, and as of 7:00 I've not heard from henwy.
Only one player has shown up, Jim. He knew he might not get to play for the boon.

I've decided to officially call it. As it is a season 4 scenario, it will probably run long. We would not be able to finish before midnight and legally earn and apply the boon for Lantern Lodge. As it is, we would probably not finish before 1:00 AM I am guessing. Still no word from other players.

However, are you still looking for GMs at Scotty's? I wouldn't mind running it there. You won't get the LL boon but it is still a scenario to play, and it seems like a fun one to me. If you are looking, what slots are open?

Why couldn't you get credit for it today? Doesn't all the new stuff come into effect the 15th?

Except for the retirement boon and faction switch. The chronicle says it must be applied before the 14th, even though nothing else goes into effect untill the 15th.
