[Kickstarter] Itar's Workshop - Dungeon Terrain and Accessories - 48 hours left

Miniatures

I haven't seen a separate thread for this Kickstarter, so with only 48 hours left I thought it was about time. ;-)
I know that there might have been a lot of people who pledged for the Dwarven Forge Kickstarter, but this one might be of interest to those who didn't. Especially international (non-US) people might be interested in Itar's KS since the shipping is much lower than on the Dwarven Forge KS.
You also already get a lot of stuff here!

Yeah, I'm backing it, but need to up my pledge for all the dungeon dressing. There's a ton of stuff & it's better price than DF.

It's really difficult to try and figure what would be fun or I'd need. The piecemeal costings of the extra's might mean I'm gonna end up spending a ton more.

I am hoping that this will make a great mixture with my forthcoming df set.

Between the two sets my new dungeons should be awesome.

Its done. 80k raised and lots of tiles sold.

Now the wait begins!!

Kicking myself now on letting this one pass.

I couldn't justify the shipping on the Dwarven Forge KS so the $20 shipping sold me on this one.
I also want to slowly start building up a collection of Hirst Arts moulds and they'll fit perfectly with this (since they're based off of Hirst Arts molds too).
Pledged for 2 sets + some add-ons. Should be enough to get us going until I can start casting more pieces myself.

Yeah I didn't catch the shipping price and just rolled on past it. Kicking myself badly now! :p

Cripes that raised a lot of money. Hope Bruce gets a big chunk of it.

I'm sure Bruce will be compensated as per their agreement. Several of the designs are Itar's Workshop's own.

Yeah it was obviously pretty good. I had a look at their website, never know if they might have done a 'missed the KS? Latecomers right this way...' deal, alas not the case :p

Oh well! Grrr...

/kickself.

I like Itar. I used to haunt the Hirst boards constantly and had good interactions with the owner of that screen name. I do not begrudge him his agreement with Bruce.

I have my own thoughts about Kickstarter and about things like this that I try not to allow to evolve into arguments.

Suffice to say I would like to see more funding going to individual artists whose stuff is all from their hands, their minds, who are not already established in my local FLGS, and who really, really need the money.
