Mechanics for a precise curse.

Advice

What would be a fair and balanced way to transform adult heroes back into tween kids. Meaning, it would be preposterous for a grown man and a 10 - 12 year old to have the same strength and speed. I appreciate the help!

Thanks!

There is the young template. Not sure how balaced it is relative to anything though.

Edit: Sounds like a fun adventure btw.

-4 Str, -4 Con, +4 Dex, damage dice decrease one step for the Young template.

Would be your Archer/TWFers wet dream and your magic users would be unchanged.

Your Fighter or Barbarian would probably be flipping you off behind your back for a while. Though the Barbarian could rage to get back to normal.

Quick rules on the d20 srd was what I looked at. The rebuild is that, but the quick rules is -2 hp/level and -2 to all checks. Would make the wizards even more squishy and even with the extra dex its still a little painful.

Edit: -2 to all checks and even int ones would still hurt wizards. Fun with strenght based challenges haha.

That was FAST! -Thanks!

Did I miss thew young template in the core? I gotta check

@mrsin, would you by chance have that link?

Here's the thing on d20srd. Its something to peak at before you decide anything yourself, its not perfect for balance as Rynjin said.
