PFS GM- FAQ and starter guides

I have been to a couple of conventions now and I am really liking the PFS concept. I have run many 2ed and 3.5 games in the past and I'd like to get involved with Pathfinder.

I want to approach a gaming store to set up some PFS events in the area but I still feel like I do not have all the facts on controlling an actual PFS event.

There seem to be lots of in's lots of outs and what have yous.

Maybe this exists and I have not found it yet but is there a FAQ on running a PFS event? Things like:

-recording results into the system
-is there a different way to register as a GM vs player
-tips on registering events
-star rankings?
-are only the scenarios in the various seasons eligible as a PFS event?
-any other rules and guidelines?

Welcome to PFS! The best starting point would be to download and read the FREE Guide to Pathfinder Society Organized Play. That should give you most of the general info you need. Feel free to post whatever questions are left over. :)

Thanks, yeah I missed it.

I downloaded the doc and saw 4.3 errata and quick start. I missed the doc called PZOPSS000E.pdf ignoring it for not seeing it as Guide-to-Pathfinder-Society-Organized-Play.
