Shadow Lodge

All those years of not eating the play-doh finally paid off. My players will soon stumble upon this monster and so I decided to whip something up fast with some air dry clay and a couple of washers. I would love to see a pro make something along these lines. It was fun to make.

Looks good. You should think about some oven-cured poly clay like Sculpey. It's much sturdier than most air-dried clays. Super Sculpey is stronger still.

Liberty's Edge

I like it. As far as professional stuff goes, a few studios like Dungeon Crawler makes some tentacle minis, and you could probably find a segmented sea serpent mini and use the head to get a similar result to what you did.

If I was making a Mother of Oblivion, I would probably leap into trying to make the whole thing, body and all, from Sculpey, pipe cleaners and whatever else I have lying around. I probably won't take the time to make one though since I have one of these. It's a pretty close approximation and it's conveniently sized to just a little bigger than a gargantuan mini.

@Velcro - that figure is awesome. I want it.

Liberty's Edge

I collected the set when SOTA released them a few years ago and always thought they'd make good gaming miniatures. I've got two of these Cthulhu figures (the green and the special edition black figure) lurking in my bathtub.
