Hey guys! I am Adam, its great to meet you guys. I wanted to share with you all some information about the guild I am attempting to start for this upcoming MMO. It is our mission to help as much as we can with development of the game, as well as being a successful group of like-minded people while in the online world. The guild is called Nightforce Sthaga, though that is open for changing. In game, the direction of the guild and what we do will be decided by the members as a process based on what we see and enjoy in the game itself. The real goal is to unite some of the earliest members together and help shape and create an MMO and world we can love. We will do this by working with development one on one with feedback, ideas, and bug reporting. It is then my hope that as we grow together helping the devs, that we create a solid and long lasting (even founding) impression on the world at release and beyond. If you are currently a backer for the kickstarter project (though this isn't mandatory) and are interested in joining at the ground floor, please fill out an application here and get in the ranks:

Visit the forum and stay active, its going to be years before the game is released but if we stick with it, we might just be able to say we were there at the beginning of a game we helped create.

If you guys have any questions feel free to ask! Thanks for your time.

Hello and welcome to Pathfinder Online. I am the leader of Great Legionnaires. A group also dedicated to improving the community both directly and by combating Random Player Killers, corruption, and griefers.

I'm interested in hearing more about your group. We may be interested in an alliance, and maybe even providing your sponsorship if you will be seeking chartered company status.

We have no clear direction in-game as of right now. We wanted to see what the game had to offer and what we could shape and what we enjoyed before we picked a certain path so all things are subject to change. This will be decided on the member base. That being said, we have come up with an idea of a CG secret society. Think Harpers in Forgotten Realms. We would of course need to secure alliances and would love to forge one with your great charter! Sponsorship would be amazing as well. Our main goal at present is to support the kickstarter project as much as possible and recruit more friends/like-minded individuals in order to help beta test and provide feedback for the developers. If this sounds like a direction your heading as well, let us work together, by all means.

It will be interesting to see how many of the fledgling guilds that start here survive to release. In my experience this sort of guild crafting doesn't work well because people end up playing with people that have similar play times and styles more so than people that have the same guild dream prior to actual game play.

I totally agree with you and have seen this myself. This is a main reason why we have not completely dedicated time to theorycrafting our direction and also why we are focusing mainly on helping DEVELOP and give feedback first and foremost. So much will change in 4 years.. and likely it might not even last that long.. but what I am certain of is that we have people who, right now, want to help create the best MMO they can in a world they love to explore. =)

Well in that I have no doubt you will succeed. I have played these sorts of games since Diablo came out and I have seen (and been part of) so many pre-release guild build ups that ultimately blow apart when people actually get to play that I am a tad gunshy.

All that being said, I think this game will be different. Guilds... err Chartered Companies will be able to form and build up while the game is still being created, and those will not be wiped at release. That's a good thing. Also since this is a Sandbox game being in a Company may mean more than just sharing a chat channel to be social in.

This is an exciting time to be involved.

Of that, we both agree on my friend. And I too, have a long history with PC gaming.

That is why GL already has it's Teamspeak running and has been hanging out together in other games.

@Ellohime, I've added this announcement to the Guild Recruitment list, but it might be better if you started a new thread with the name of the Guild as the title. That will make it easier for people when they're browsing the list since I can't rename the threads in the list. If you'd like me to add a small description of the guild so that players can get a feel for it just by browsing the list, PM me or just post it here and I'll add it.

Also, welcome aboard! The Seventh Veil has a Diplomatic Outreach program you may find helpful.
